Some cool things about this weekend:

- Saw Underworld: Evolution with Arwen and her friend Heather. The only redeeming quality, really, was the opportunity to see the Silent Hill trailer. Color me very excited. =)
- My boots arrived; I'll put up pictures on the wedding site tomorrow. I'm expecting the shirt and pants to show up this week, along with a bracer that I liked, so my costume is almost done. One more thing off the list.
- Figured out a clever scheme to get myself a new phone, which I'll do tomorrow as well. Yay for new phone! The number won't be changing quite yet, but it's one more step along that path.
- Arwen finished outlining the design she drew for our save-the-date cards; it's really gorgeous, and I can't wait to get it into the computer and whip up some awesome reminders so we can get them out to everybody.
- Arwen and I watched the Commercialbowl today, with the benefit of our DVR. It was really very nice. We fast-forwarded through the game, kept up with the scoring via the little scoreboard bar along the bottom of the screen, and played at regular speed when we saw a commercial that looked interesting. Took us less than an hour, and from what I've heard people saying about the game, we didn't really miss much. ;-)
- Saw the scale drop to 224 lbs today; that is the lowest I've seen it in quite a long time. Arwen tells me that she can really tell a difference, and my clothes definitely fit better, so I'm really happy about it. Hopefully this keeps up for another few months, but if it starts to slow down, I have a few tricks up my sleeve to kick my metabolism into high gear.
